How to read this registry
An index is registered here when its production pipeline is running on the BenchmarkRegistry engine and its output is published with the standard audit bundle. Registration says nothing about the index’s eligibility rules, weighting method, or investability — those are the responsibility of the index’s methodology owner and live in that index’s methodology document.
What registration does guarantee is that the numbers on this site were produced by the same deterministic engine, from unadjusted price inputs, and that every published date has a hash-chained record. If a value changes, a new version appears; the wrong one stays retrievable.
Inclusion policy
BenchmarkRegistry does not sponsor, endorse, or select indices for investment merit. An index is admitted to the registry when its owner has:
- Published a public methodology document (rules-based, non-discretionary).
- Locked a base date and base value with a full constituent+weight schedule.
- Passed a parity check against any prior published series (max abs diff below the site’s published rounding on finalized dates).
- Set a rebalance/reconstitution calendar and an EOD publication cadence.
Removal happens only if the methodology owner withdraws the index. Withdrawn indices remain retrievable at every previously-published version; the registry stops appending new dates.
