Corrections
If you believe a published level is wrong, write with the index code, the date, the value shown, and the value you believe is correct with source. Corrections that pass verification are published as a restatement of the current version, with the reason recorded in the audit trail. The old value is not deleted.
Methodology questions
Methodology questions belong with the index owner, not the registry. Every registered index links its methodology from its verification page and from the registry. Questions about the publication discipline itself — append-only rows, hash chains, versioning — are the registry’s and are welcome here.
Registering an index
To propose an index for registration, send the methodology document, the base date and value with a full constituent+weight schedule, and a link to any prior published series (for parity). Registration criteria are on the registry page.
